An intriguing and deliciously fragrant and spiced red from the rare Bobal grape. Confined to one region of sunny Spain, this Bobal brings lovely red grapey fruit but with considerable dryness. Terrific at the Sunday dinner table and a real talker.

Okay, bit of wine buffery for you: Bobal is a variety of Vitis Vinifera, a red grape almost wholly native to the Utiel-Requena region in Valencia, Spain. The name derives from the Latin bovale, a reference to the way the bunches resemble the shape of a bull's head. And what does it taste like? Well, lovely. It has loads of red cherry and raspberry notes, but there's vanilla and a lot of oak with very edgy tannins. Like a Merlot with attitude. Gorgeous stuff with big beefy stews, though, and a cracker just for the sofa and the TV.

I have been pleased with the service I've had from Kiddicare in the past and this time it was no different, they kept me in the loop via e-mail and text to confirm when my item would be delivered. My only problem was when i received the confirmation texte-mail on when it was due to be delivered, it wasn't convenient, so re-arranged and confirmed it for the following day, but unfortunately it still arrived on the original day Thank goodness my neighbour was in to sign for it for me

Product arrived a couple of days after ordering so was very impressed and it arrived in good condition Only negative was that i opted for the mobile change delivery option. When they text to say the day they were going to deliver, i knew i wouldn't be in to take the delivery. So it gives you other date options, i chose a different date and got a confirmation text to say it would be delivered on my chosen date. However, the product arrived on the original date Luckily a neighbour was able to take it in. So quick delivery but find the change of date option pointless if they confirm a change but then still bring it on the original date
